The
Ranch is located approximately 20 miles northwest of the town of LaVeta, in
Huerfano County, Colorado, or two hours from Colorado Springs. Huerfano County consists of 1,560 sq. miles,
bordered on the west by the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, the longest and
average highest range of the Rockies, with altitudes ranging from 5,000
above sea level to 14.380 ft. at the top of Mount Blanca. The
Headquarters are at an elevation of 8,700 ft. with breathtaking views,
unspoiled air, an abundance of wildlife, and broad expanses of
unspoiled land. It is simply communing with Mother Nature at her best.

Using
the Ranch as your home away from home, it is a perfect location for day
trips to Sand Dunes National Monument, Cumbres Toltec Railroad, Bishop's
Castle, Royal Gorge Bridge are but a few of the sights in the area. Plus, hiking, mountain biking,
hunting, fishing, ATV trails, are all right outside the front door where wildlife abounds. A Colorado mountain stream with brook trout runs a mere 50 feet from the cabin.

Approximately
3/4 of a mile from the Ranch Headquarters is this Fine Log Cabin
around 110+ years old and available to rent by the week. It is close to
County Road # 572, which is a gravel road. There is a wooden deck on
the back of the Cabin overlooking a small trout stream that meanders
through the property for over a mile. The Cabin was renovated in 2006
to comfortably house a family of 6, consisting of approximately 1,250
Sq. Ft. There is a living room with a fireplace. The kitchen and
bathroom have ceramic tile floors. The bathroom has a shower. There are
three bedrooms, with one full bed, three single beds, and one double
sofa bed in the living room.
